A 2023 customer called it a local veteran owned company. In a 2023 review, a customer said Amanda set up an appointment, Mike came out that day and quoted within 24 hours, and Mike and his crew came out two days later and removed 30 tall pines from the front yard. A 2022 customer said Mike and his crew hooked lines to their skid steer to bring down 3 dead ash trees without any damage, then cut the logs into 16-18 inch lengths and stacked them near the wood pile. In a 2022 review, a customer said the company removed 3 big pine trees and an oak over 10 feet in diameter in one day, after 3 other companies said they couldn't do it. A 2025 customer said Mike adjusted scope to save money, such as leaving the branches for the customer to burn rather than bringing out the mulch truck. A 2023 customer said its estimate was on the lower end of six estimates that ranged from $3k to $9k. In a 2022 review, a customer said a tree fell on their house during the removal of several trees, and after trying for weeks to reach the company about repairs was told it communicates only by text or email. The company's reply, quoted in that 2022 review, said it notified the customer of the damage the day it happened and offered to direct them to its lawyer's phone number. A 2024 customer who wanted a second job said scheduling a quote was frustrating and, after 4 attempts, connected with other companies. **Strengths:** - A 30-pine removal — a 2023 customer had 30 tall pines removed - A skid-steer takedown — a 2022 customer had 3 dead ash trees cut down - A large oak removal — a 2022 customer had an oak over 10 feet removed - A low estimate — a 2023 customer's was low among six from $3k–$9k **Concerns:** - Tree on a house — a 2022 customer said a tree fell during removal - Repair dispute — a 2022 customer was told contact was text or email only - Quote scheduling — a 2024 customer gave up after 4 attempts ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A 2022 customer placed the company out of Wilton, NH _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNCc3JxVUFnEAE!2m1!1s0x0:0xe5e597aab7f0ad91!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICBsrqUAg%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I just had a 30' Blue Spruce removed by Black River Tree Co. out of Wilton, NH.
