## The honest read

Bobby L Tree Service takes down trees, and its Google page shows 5 stars from 272 ratings. The company says it has served Connecticut since 2013.

A customer who hired them along with a neighbor says they dismantled a huge dead sugar maple that stood footsteps from the house without any damage to any structure. One customer says the team needed a crane, had it, and finished cutting down a storm damaged tree and removed everything. A customer with a huge beech tree in the front yard says close-by power lines made the job more difficult, but they managed with no problems. For a large tree in a tough spot, a customer says they quoted 3 hours for the job and that is how long it took.

A customer says the team got the job done as described and left the yard spotless. A customer says communication was very easy through text with Lori, and that Bobby explained the process of removing a large tree, smaller trees, bushes and grinding roots in a relatively small area. A 2026 customer said the spider lift didn't leave any tracks in the yard, even in wet spring conditions. A 2024 customer said they laid panels down to protect the lawn and the work was completed within a day.

A customer says the team even saved a birds nest and relocated it.

**Strengths:**
- Crane-assisted removal — a customer says they had the crane the job needed
- Work near a house — a dead sugar maple came down without structural damage
- Accurate time quote — a customer says a 3-hour quote took 3 hours
- A spotless yard — a customer says the team left the yard spotless
