That customer said the remodel took approximately 4 weeks, that the price proposal included the contingency expenses they would need to cover, and that there were no cost surprises based on the proposal. The same customer said the work area was always clean at the end of the day. Bonafide Builders LLC says it is owned and operated by Ryan Boies, who has more than 20 years in the construction trade as a carpenter, foreman and project manager, and the company states 10 years in business. Its website names Auburn as its service area. A recent customer wrote that Ryan was patient with on-again, off-again decisions, that his timeline was always on track, and that he was quick to reach out when there was a hold-up. A 2025 customer said three exterior doors were installed, including a front door with a sidelight, and that three windows and the house and garage roofing were replaced. That 2025 customer also praised a chicken coop. The Better Business Bureau grades the company A+ and lists it as accredited, and its Houzz profile lists it as a Certified Andersen Installer. On Google it holds 4.1 stars from 8 ratings. **Strengths:** - A bathroom remodel — a recent customer said it took approximately 4 weeks - No cost surprises — a recent customer said costs held to the price proposal - A clean work area — a recent customer said it was clean each day - Timeline updates — a recent customer said Ryan reached out about a hold-up - Exterior door installs — a 2025 customer had three exterior doors installed ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer said Ryan redesigned an outdated 1980s downstairs bathroom around a walk-in shower and a first-floor laundry _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2w5V2RFcHFkbXRvYlROVVRtaHlaM0ZJYURnMVlWRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xd8350a5ab9e8a7ce!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOl9WdEpqdmtobTNUTmhyZ3FIaDg1YVE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ I am extremely happy with the completed remodel of my downstairs bathroom by Bonefide Builders, LLC.
