Its stated service area includes Ludlow, Springfield, Holyoke, Chicopee, Northampton and Amherst. The company's Better Business Bureau profile describes local residential moves, long-distance moves, packing and warehouse storage, and the bureau lists it as accredited with an A+ grade. One recent customer moved out of a four-story home into a new home over an hour away and said the moving crew took great care of their belongings. A customer who has moved several times said the movers were fast, did not break anything, and paused to ask when they were not sure where to put something. A customer storing a WPI student's belongings over the summer for the second time said the prices are fair though not the cheapest, and that the belongings were picked up in one place and delivered somewhere else. A 2026 customer said the manager, Mickey, came out before the move to see what the job would be and gave a price, and that Boomerang was the only company that customer called that came to see what needed moving. A 2025 customer said Pat and Christian disassembled furniture with care and put everything back together at the new place. A 2026 Reddit post recalled a move a few years back and praised clear and prompt communication, careful handling of items and the most reasonable quote the poster found. **Strengths:** - Careful handling — a recent customer said the movers did not break anything - Pre-move visit — a 2026 customer said the manager came to see the job - Furniture reassembly — a 2025 customer said furniture was put back together **Concerns:** - Storage pricing — a recent customer said it is not the cheapest ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as a locally owned moving company _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.boomerangmovers.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Looking for a locally owned, reliable moving company near you?
