## The honest read

Born to Shine LLC is an electrical business that says it has more than 25 years of experience, and it lists Danbury, New Milford and Greenwich as its service area. On Google it holds 5 stars from 177 ratings.

A recent customer said the electrician Paulo installed the electrical system for their outdoor sauna. A recent customer who had a Tesla 50 amp plug put in their garage said the work was fast and very neat. A recent customer said Duds Silva installed an outdoor line to a hot tub and waterproofed the outlets. A recent customer said the company came that afternoon for a 25 to 30 minute diagnosis and came back the next morning to fix it.

A 2026 customer who reached out to Duds, the owner, for electrical work at a new home said he recommended lighting ideas for each room. A 2025 customer described an electrical fire in a home they had recently bought; they said Duds came out at the end of his day, assessed and replaced the wiring and outlet, and explained their circuit breaker situation. A 2025 customer said that when the power supply to their pool pump failed, they texted Duds on a Sunday morning and he was at the house within hours; that customer said the repair involved replacing the outdoor outlet and re-wiring the pool pump. A 2023 customer doing a full remodel of their house in Fairfield said Dudis had essentially rewired the entire house and installed recessed lights, chandeliers and fans.

A recent customer said their quote came in far higher than everyone else's and that the company could not explain why when asked. A 2025 customer who hired them for a dead wire issue said they wished there had been more explanation of the problem and the fix.

**Strengths:**
- Quick diagnosis — a recent customer had a visit the same afternoon
- A Tesla garage plug — a recent customer called the work fast and neat
- Whole-house rewiring — a 2023 customer had a Fairfield remodel rewired

**Concerns:**
- A high quote — a recent customer said the price was not explained
- More explanation wanted — a 2025 customer wished the fix were explained
