That customer credited Rick and his team by name. The Charlestown shop has been putting film on Boston-area windows since 1993 — residential, commercial, and the decorative and frosted work that goes on partitions and bathroom glass. It is listed as a LLumar SelectPro dealer carrying LLumar and Vista films, names 3M Fasara among its lines, and says it operates under the Tint-It network. Its Houzz profile adds custom blinds and shades and UV-fade-reducing film, across a broad Massachusetts service area. A 2022 customer described the work as nice, professional and fast. If heat, glare or fading is the problem rather than privacy alone, say so on the first call: the 2024 job turned on picking film by heat rating, not just by shade. Ask which specific LLumar or Vista product is in the quote, what its warranty covers, and whether the crew has worked on your type of glass before. **Strengths:** - Heat-rated film — a 2024 office overheating problem fixed by product choice - LLumar SelectPro dealer — LLumar and Vista films listed on its Houzz profile - Since 1993 — the company says it has tinted Boston-area windows that long - Fast, professional work — a 2022 reviewer's words for the crew **Concerns:** - Dated written reviews — the two customer accounts are from 2022 and 2024 ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Five-star average across six Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Boston%20Window%20Film&query_place_id=ChIJcT6Qf8Rw44kRw8of6lMNfgg) — “Google: 5★ from 6 ratings” - A September 2024 customer said film chosen for its heat rating drastically fixed an office overheating in direct sun _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNucmZfYU53EAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x87e0d53ea1fcac3!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICnrf_aNw%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Was having major issue with office getting way too hot from the sun beating on the windows.
