The Huntington company handles additions and remodeling, and says on its HomeAdvisor and Angi profiles that it has more than 20 years of carpentry experience serving residential and commercial customers. The 2025 customer also said drywall sanding left new mini-splits needing professional cleaning, an old exhaust-vent opening was not prepared for insulation, and plumbing and electrical costs were underestimated by thousands of dollars. They praised the carpentry team but criticized the contractor's oversight, saying they had paid a 20 percent premium. In a separate April 2019 Google review, a customer complained of overcharging, a worker being diverted to another job, and unfinished work left in a mess while the contractor sought more money. An older addition account was much more positive. In a March 2020 HomeAdvisor review, a homeowner described adding 650 square feet with two bedrooms and a four-season room, plus a deck with a slanted roof over a hot tub area. The reviewer said Brad Moreau stayed within the quoted budget and met the requested spring-to-before-cold-weather schedule. They credited him with suggesting a vaulted tongue-and-groove ceiling and space-saving pocket doors, and praised the subcontractors hired for the foundation, heating and cooling, electrical work and carpeting. Bradford Builders' Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active on the state registry. Its advertised services include decks, roofing, siding, windows and doors, along with kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Platform ratings differ sharply: Google lists one star from two ratings, while HomeAdvisor and Angi each list 4.4 stars from seven ratings. **Strengths:** - Addition budget — a 2020 homeowner said Brad stayed within the quoted price - Seasonal deadline — a 2020 homeowner said the addition met their requested schedule - Carpentry team — a 2025 complainant praised the team's work **Concerns:** - Renovation defects — a 2025 customer reported shower separation and unfinished drywall - Cost estimates — a 2025 reviewer reported plumbing and electrical underestimates by thousands - Unfinished work — a 2019 reviewer complained of a mess and further money demands **Where sources disagree:** - Google lists one star from two ratings, while HomeAdvisor and Angi each list 4.4 stars from seven ratings. ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - An August 2025 customer reported a separating shower insert, unfinished drywall they repaired, and tracked equipment crossing the septic area despite their objection. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=15458659889656884077&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “1★ “Trust me, we all know what you want” - “It’s just a little wooden cabin”, per contractor. • 3-piece shower insert is separating • Allowe…” - The August 2025 reviewer said plumbing and electrical costs were underestimated by thousands and criticized oversight despite praising the carpentry team. • 3-piece shower insert is separating • Allowe…” - An April 2019 reviewer complained of overcharging, a diverted worker and unfinished work left in a mess. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=15458659889656884077&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “1★ Do not trust home advisior or contractor.
