A recent customer who had just moved from California to Connecticut said Paul and Adam took the time to understand the issues and explained everything clearly, then had Alex, Paul and Adam come back to install a Ring floodlight in the backyard, fix the front light, repair and secure the garage light, organize the wiring inside the electrical boxes and add a new light by the front garage. A recent property owner whose original contractor had not shown up for a couple of days reached Brighthouse at 5:30pm and was assured someone would be at the job site by 9:00am the next day. A recent homeowner said the work used the least amount of small holes in walls and ceilings, and that Brighthouse was willing to work with them on price. In a 2024 review, a customer said Alex upgraded the electrical service on the customer's mother's home, finished that same morning, labeled all of the breakers and handled the town inspection process. A 2024 customer said Brighthouse upgraded an electrical panel to 200 amps. A 2024 reviewer wrote that Alex installed a switch for a generator and added two GFI outlets to the garage, and explained and labeled the work when it was completed. A 2024 customer described a project to install an electric oven and a replacement circuit breaker, and said Alex and Carlos arrived on time. In a 2023 review, a customer said they hired Alex to put in recessed lighting, under-cabinet lighting, a new electrical box, new switches, light fixtures and new outlets throughout the house. A 2023 customer who needed an EV charger installed before a new car arrived said Brighthouse fit the job in the day after the call and called the price transparent. The recent homeowner who praised the wall work also said response time to get a quote and get scheduled was lax. The 2024 customer with the generator switch said the one negative was a piece of wire left behind, which that customer called very minor. **Strengths:** - A same-morning service upgrade — a 2024 customer said Alex finished that same morning - Labeled breakers — a 2024 customer said Alex labeled all of the breakers - Next-morning arrival — a recent property owner was assured someone by 9:00am - An EV charger install — a 2023 customer was fit in the day after calling **Concerns:** - Lax quote scheduling — a recent homeowner said getting a quote and scheduled was lax - A stray wire — a 2024 customer found one piece left behind ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Holds a 5-star average from 26 ratings on Google _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Brighthouse%20Electric&query_place_id=ChIJjROv6suB9GsRRulT_Jd_Opg) — “Google: 5★ from 26 ratings” - A recent customer said Alex, Paul and Adam installed a Ring floodlight, fixed and secured exterior lights and organized wiring in the electrical boxes _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2poVmFrTTNRazQ0YmxaQlVFRlBNRVUxWjB4dVpWRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x983a7f97fc53e946!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjhVakM3Qk44blZBUEFPMEU1Z0xuZVE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We recently moved from California to Connecticut, so everyhing is still very new and unfamiliar to us.
