The customer said the crew arrived on time every day, finished within the estimated time, stayed neat and clean, and also did light carpentry. The Lakeville Journal describes Bushnell Painting LLC as serving Massachusetts and Connecticut. The company's website says it has 21 years in business, offers free estimates, and uses brush painting as well as spraying and automatic taping machines. In November 2023, one Google reviewer described a meticulous paint job inside and outside their house. Another, writing that same month, said the company had painted several rooms and their entire house the previous summer. A separate November 2023 reviewer described repeated repairs and repainting of an aging pool over the preceding five years, saying the crew worked quickly despite weather demands. An April 2025 customer praised the crew's work reaching high, tricky spots. Google lists a 4.6-star average from 22 ratings. Local news coverage also links Bushnell, identified by the Lakeville Journal as the company's owner, to a murder case involving a shared-job dispute. The Lakeville Journal attributes an allegation about stolen money to prosecutors, while the Berkshire Edge describes a conflict over a shared job. Those are attributed news accounts, not customer complaints about the quality of painting. **Strengths:** - Interior painting — a September 2025 customer described neat work and daily punctuality - Deck refinishing — a September 2025 reviewer described sanding and staining - High spots — an April 2025 customer praised the crew's painting work **Concerns:** - Criminal case — local news links the owner to a murder and job dispute ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - The Lakeville Journal describes Bushnell Painting LLC as serving Massachusetts and Connecticut. _(confidence: medium)_ - [Local News](https://lakevillejournal.com/ashley-falls-man-charged-with-murder-after-body-found-at-home) — “lakevillejournal.com — He is the owner of Bushnell Painting LLC, which services Massachusetts and Connecticut.
