Last 6 months: 14 reviews, 1 negative. ## The honest read C & C Home Finishing is a New Fairfield remodeling company that says it has been in business 20 years. A recent customer had a full bathroom remodeled and said the quote came quickly with a detailed itemized breakdown, and that the project finished ahead of schedule. A recent customer said this was the second major project with Cris and his team in five years: a full renovation of the master bath and a second full bathroom, plus part of the attic finished, kept to the timeline given. The work goes beyond bathrooms. A recent customer had hallway carpet replaced with hardwood flooring. A recent customer had ceiling fans installed, with new wiring run in four rooms and a fan replaced on a 20-foot ceiling. A recent customer had an interior paint job on a 1,400 sq ft house completed on time and on budget. A recent customer said the company helped with concepts, design and permits while turning a basement into a living and gym space. In a 2025 review, a customer said the company gutted and renovated a hall bath, partly redid the master bath, stuck to the estimate and finished two days early. In a 2019 Angi review, a customer described a complete rebuild after a storm put two trees on the roof, with C&C managing the roof, flooring, sheetrock, windows, siding and paint. A recent customer said Cristiano walked off a kitchen job before it was finished, that much of the completed work needed correction, and that a 5-star review posted under a name not theirs used photos of that customer's kitchen. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0636740, as active, held by C & C Home Finishing LLC. **Strengths:** - Ahead-of-schedule bathroom — a recent customer said the remodel finished early - Two-bathroom renovation — a recent customer said the timeline held - Basement conversion — a recent customer said they helped with permits **Concerns:** - Unfinished kitchen job — a recent customer said Cristiano walked off before finishing - Disputed review — a recent customer said a review used their kitchen photos **Where sources disagree:** - A recent 1-star customer said a 5-star review using photos of the customer's kitchen was not written by that customer, while the company's Google and Angi ratings sit near 5 stars. ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it has been in business 20 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://cchomefinishing.com) — “Self-reported 20 years in business” - A recent customer said a full bathroom remodel finished ahead of schedule, with a detailed itemized quote _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT205cFpUTTJZek5EWVhSWk1scElWMHBKWldWM1FsRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x75e28dece0c88c!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOm9pZTM2YzNDYXRZMlpIV0pJZWV3QlE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Exceptional Bathroom Remodeling Experience!
