On its Houzz profile it calls itself a designer-owned kitchen and bath design and cabinetry showroom and names Anita Colby, a certified master kitchen and bath designer. It holds 4.8 stars from 59 ratings on Houzz, and seacoastonline.com has written about a kitchen designed with Anita Colby. A recent customer was referred to Anita for a kitchen renovation in Haverhill, MA. Anita worked their goals into the design and gave referrals for appliances, hardware, flooring and backsplash tile, and the customer said the contractor Todd and his tradespeople handled the challenges of an old home renovation while the family lived in the house. A 2026 customer said Anita was responsive, talked with them frequently to review progress and walk through design options, and was respectful of their budget. A 2026 customer who had been without a kitchen for a little over a year said Anita designed the cabinets and suggested a two-tone kitchen when they could not decide on a color. A 2025 customer said Anita designed a kitchen with extra storage and put together a team that stayed on schedule, slipping by only one day. A 2025 customer said Anita connected them with suppliers and contractors that let them finish by their desired completion date. A 2023 customer said the company did their primary bathroom remodel and called Anita's pricing very reasonable. A 2021 customer said they tore out their kitchen down to the original studs and reworked plumbing and wiring, and that Anita worked with their contractors over a 4 month period to install custom cabinetry and woodwork, quartz countertops in three areas and a marble backsplash. A 2021 customer said every company they looked at asked for a hefty non-refundable deposit to provide a final plan except The Cabinetworks, and that when others said a kitchen island could not be done, the Cabinetworks proved them wrong. A 2022 customer said Anita, as the general contractor, never once came to the property and relied on Zoom calls or pictures of the issues, and that about six months after the kitchen was called complete they were still finding problems, including cement left on the fireplace and crown not flush to the ceiling. That 2022 customer said they loved the crew but would probably not use the company again. **Strengths:** - Kitchen design — a 2026 customer said Anita worked their goals into the design - Supplier referrals — a 2026 customer used Anita's referrals for appliances and tile - Budget-minded design — a 2026 customer said Anita was respectful of their budget - An on-schedule install — a 2025 customer said the team slipped only one day - Reasonable pricing — a 2023 customer called Anita's bathroom remodel pricing very reasonable **Concerns:** - No site visits — a 2022 customer said Anita never came to the property - Unfinished details — a 2022 customer was still finding issues about six months later ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as a small kitchen and bath design company in Stratham serving New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and New England _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.thecabinetworks.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): The Cabinetworks is a small personalized Kitchen & Bath Design company located in Stratham, serving the New…” - Its Houzz profile describes a designer-owned showroom and names Anita Colby, a certified master kitchen and bath designer _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-designers/the-cabinetworks-pfvwus-pf~2013350271) — “About (Houzz profile, the business's own statement): The Cabinetworks is a designer owned kitchen and bath design and cabinetry showroom loc…” - 4.8 stars from 59 ratings on Houzz _(confidence: high)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-designers/the-cabinetworks-pfvwus-pf~2013350271) — “Houzz: 4.8★ from 59 ratings” - 4.7 stars from 7 ratings on Google _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Cabinetworks&query_place_id=ChIJiwjB4Kfu4okRpBWljhXA_iA) — “Google: 4.7★ from 7 ratings” - A recent customer said Anita worked their goals into a kitchen renovation design and referred them for appliances, hardware, flooring and tile _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xaU2RscE1MVWt5YWxSRU4xaDNUVWwyVDBSMVRXYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x20fec0158ea515a4!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlZSdlpMLUkyalREN1h3TUl2T0R1TWc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We were very fortunate when a friend of ours referred us to Anita and her team for our Kitchen Renovation in Haverhill, MA.
