## The honest read

Candito Plumbing and HVAC, LLC describes itself on its website as a local father/son business specializing in plumbing, heating and air conditioning, and says it has been in business 20 years. A recent Stamford customer said Jon, George, Noah and the rest of the staff installed a new HVAC unit in their condo and came back when they had a problem with the thermostat.

A 2025 customer said the AC went out on the first hot day of the summer and John had guys at the house within hours of the call. A 2024 customer said John and his crew installed a new HVAC system and replaced the existing lines at their townhouse. A 2024 customer said their boiler needed emergency replacing, and John, Anthony and the rest of the team got it sorted. A 2024 customer said two men showed up within an hour for a water leak in a return pipe of the heating unit, had a replacement part, and it was fixed within an hour.

A 2026 customer said Alex and Diego came to investigate at 9:30 a.m. after an 8 a.m. call during a winter storm, then noticed and fixed a drain leak in a bathroom. A 2025 customer whose old cast iron pipes had left only one upstairs bathroom working said Jon sent his guys, who removed and replaced the failed plumbing and cleaned up. A 2025 customer said a faucet installation was quoted up front and completed in 40 minutes. A 2024 customer said a technician came within an hour of a Saturday-afternoon call about a pinhole leak in a water pipe, and Diego had it fixed by the evening. A 2024 customer said the team replaced the toilets, the garbage disposal and the bath tub control in their son's new apartment.

A 2026 customer said they hired another company due to owner rudeness. A 2025 customer wrote "rude."

**Strengths:**
- A same-day AC visit — a 2025 customer said guys came within hours
- An upfront faucet quote — a 2025 customer said installation took 40 minutes
- A storm-morning drain fix — a 2026 customer said Alex and Diego came that morning

**Concerns:**
- Owner's manner — a 2026 customer hired another company over owner rudeness
