BuildZoom counts 84 permitted projects under the company's name, most of them " doc_version: "2026-09-14" last_updated: "2026-09-14" --- # Cappuccio Construction Co Inc **Trade:** General Contractor / Remodeling · **Address:** 100 Dale St, Revere, MA 02151 · **Phone:** (781) 289-2759 · **Website:** https://www.cappuccioinc.com/ · **Languages:** English **Rating: 2.8/5** (low confidence) — from 1 reviews across 4 sources. ## The honest read Cappuccio Construction's footprint sits in permit files rather than reviews. BuildZoom counts 84 permitted projects under the company's name, most of them at East Boston and Boston-area addresses, and gives it a BuildZoom Score of 87 — the paper trail a general contractor builds over years of pulling permits on other people's buildings. The Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #123788, is active on the state registry in the company's name. BuildZoom lists that one plus an active construction supervisor licence, #CS-081940, and two further Massachusetts registrations it marks inactive: a home improvement contractor registration #140038 and a construction supervisor 1 & 2 family licence #CSFA-070776. Houzz lists the Revere company for bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling and general contracting. What customers have written amounts to one account, and it is a complaint. In June 2013 a homeowner on BuildZoom described setting up a roofing job, supplying the proof of insurance and licensing her bank asked for, and signing papers on 22 May 2013 — and then nobody arriving by 15 June, with both she and her husband calling. Google carries a single five-star rating with no text beside it. So this is a long permitted history paired with a written history of exactly one account, thirteen years old. That combination is the reason to do your own checking rather than lean on either number. Ask for two or three recent job addresses you can drive past and homeowners you can call, get the start date written into the contract along with what happens if it moves, and ask which of the listed supervisor licences your permit will be pulled under. **Strengths:** - 84 permitted projects — a long permit history around East Boston - Active HIC registration — #123788 confirmed active in the company's name - Supervisor licence listed — BuildZoom shows #CS-081940 active in Massachusetts **Concerns:** - A 2013 no-show — roofing papers signed, then three weeks without anyone arriving - One written account — the only customer review on file dates to June 2013 - Two inactive registrations — BuildZoom marks #140038 and #CSFA-070776 inactive ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration #123788 is active on the state registry in the name of Cappuccio Construction Co., Inc. _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 123788 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: CAPPUCCIO CONSTRUCTION CO., INC.” - BuildZoom counts 84 permitted projects under the company's name, most at East Boston and Boston-area addresses, and scores the profile 87 _(confidence: medium)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/cappuccio-construction-company-inc) — “84 project(s) shown on BuildZoom” - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/cappuccio-construction-company-inc) — “BuildZoom shows a BZ Score of 87, one 1-star customer review describing a no-show roofing job, 84 permitted projects (mostly East Boston/Bos…” - BuildZoom lists an active Massachusetts construction supervisor licence #CS-081940 alongside the home improvement contractor registration _(confidence: medium)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/cappuccio-construction-company-inc) — “Licence listed on BuildZoom: License #123788 — Home Improvement Contractor, Active, Massachusetts, Verified License” - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/cappuccio-construction-company-inc) — “Licence listed on BuildZoom: License #CS-081940 — Building Licenses, Construction Supervisor, Active, Massachusetts, Verified License” - BuildZoom also lists two Massachusetts registrations it marks inactive: home improvement contractor #140038 and construction supervisor 1 & 2 family #CSFA-070776 _(confidence: medium)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/cappuccio-construction-company-inc) — “Licence listed on BuildZoom: Inactive License #CSFA-070776 — Building Licenses, Construction Supervisor 1 & 2 Family, Massachusetts” - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/cappuccio-construction-company-inc) — “Licence listed on BuildZoom: Inactive License #140038 — Home Improvement Contractor, Massachusetts” - The one written customer account, posted on BuildZoom in June 2013, describes a roofing job signed on 22 May 2013 where nobody had arrived by 15 June despite calls from both homeowners _(confidence: high)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/cappuccio-construction-company-inc) — “1★ I would NEVER use this company or refer this company.
