Its website offers free estimates and 24/7 emergency service. One customer needed the water heater in a summer cottage replaced, and the job was completed the very next day. It was not simple: the basement door and frame had to come out for the new heater to fit. That customer said Bernie called back minutes after they left a message, and they were pleased with the communication and the price. A customer said Bernie replaced a gas boiler per his estimate even though the job turned out to be more complicated, and that it now runs like a charm. A customer who had a new hot water heater installed said the crew worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. One customer said Tim and John were on time, professional and efficient. On Google the company holds 4.8 stars from 32 ratings, and its Better Business Bureau grade is A+. **Strengths:** - Next-day water heater — a cottage heater was replaced the very next day - Boiler held to estimate — gas boiler replaced per estimate despite a harder job - Cleanup after install — the water heater crew cleaned up after themselves - A quick callback — Bernie called back minutes after a left message ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as a plumbing, heating and air conditioning company with decades of experience in Rhode Island _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.rhodeislandplumber.net) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): At Carbone Plumbing & Heating, we are your go-to experts for all things Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditio…” - Replaced a summer cottage's water heater the day after the call, removing the basement door and frame so it would fit _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pGNk5IRnNSRXRIUjJkV1dEUmtNblZJTkdOa1ZrRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x7d699562420566a1!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjF6NHFsREtHR2dWWDRkMnVINGNkVkE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ We really lucked out!
