## The honest read

Customers have hired Cardinal Custom Carpentry and Woodworking for furniture repairs, custom signs and pieces built for a particular space. The Palmer business offers custom furniture building, refinishing and repair through its Thumbtack profile. Alongside praise for completed work, customers writing in 2025 reported unfinished jobs and lost communication.

In a December 2025 Angi review, a customer said the business had held their tabletop for six months while giving successive completion dates. They reported unanswered messages and calls, including attempts to arrange collecting it themselves. A June 2025 Thumbtack reviewer said they paid $360, the job was never done and the business stopped communicating. An older complaint, posted on Angi in April 2018, said a table's color did not match the chairs and that it stained easily.

Other customers described completed furniture work. In July 2025, a Thumbtack reviewer praised the conversion of an outdoor chair into an ottoman for a balcony furniture set. A February 2025 customer said Angie returned two repaired furniture pieces on time, and a March 2025 reviewer praised a broken-chair repair at an affordable price. In April 2025, another customer thanked Angie for custom signs that brought their idea to life. A separate July 2025 reviewer praised timely pickup and an explanation of planned work, while explicitly saying the piece had not yet been finished and they were in no hurry.

Older accounts include a November 2017 Angi review in which a customer said Angie arrived on time to quote a loveseat-leg repair and repaired it the next day for a reasonable fee. An October 2018 reviewer praised work updating, cleaning and repairing a family heirloom. In June 2016, a customer described a closet and computer space built into a bedroom, praising the price and finished appearance. Angi shows a 4.0-star average from ten ratings; Thumbtack shows 4.6 stars from seventeen.
