In a November 2019 Angi review, a customer had 2 bathrooms totally rebuilt after serious water damage in a house over 200 years old where nothing was plumb or level, and said the work came in within the cost and time estimates. A December 2016 customer described a bathroom where water had rotted the flooring and drywall, which John turned "from a disaster into a beautiful space." The Northampton, Massachusetts business lists remodeling, handyman work, carpentry, tile and marble, hardwood flooring, drywall and paint. The tile work draws detail. A September 2017 customer said Johnny Carenzo tiled 2 showers and a floor, cut down a baseboard heater and worked around a custom Ashfield Stone vanity top, on time and on budget. In a May 2018 review, he replaced a bathtub with a floor-to-ceiling shower, met the customer at Home Depot to pick materials and finished on the exact day promised. The work goes beyond bathrooms. In 2015 reviews, John and Vaughn, the carpenter who works with him, replaced a sill plate, joists, sheathing and siding at a rotted house corner, and another customer had water-damaged ceilings repaired. In a July 2022 review, Johnny and Danny remodeled about half of a fixer-upper within the customers' budget. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0 stars from 38 ratings; the newest written review, from December 2024 on Google, calls John "very professional and reasonably priced." **Strengths:** - Water-damaged bathrooms — 2016 and 2019 customers had them rebuilt - Tile and showers — 2017 and 2018 reviews detail on-schedule tile work - Structural repairs — 2015 customer had a rotted house corner rebuilt ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A November 2019 customer had 2 water-damaged bathrooms rebuilt within cost and time estimates _(confidence: high)_ - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ma/florence/carenzo-remodel-repair-reviews-1.htm) — “I had 2 bathrooms that needed total rebuilding after serious water damage.
