On Google it holds 4.8 stars from 18 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau gives it an A+ grade. A recent customer said Greg came out within the hour when the customer's dad had wires tangled up in his garage door, and the price was reasonable. A recent customer said Eric, found through neighbors after a scam visit by a non-existent company, repaired what had been removed, aligned the doors, fixed the key pad and inspected the springs. A 2025 customer said a torsion spring was replaced in a few minutes after a different company had quoted replacing the spring, pulley, drum and more. A 2024 customer said Eric called on a Monday after a weekend email, came the next day with a quote, and the Haas garage doors arrived in 4 weeks as he said before his team installed them. A 2023 customer said the company was at the house by 1:30pm the day of the call and replaced a snapped spring in 30 minutes. A 2022 customer said special-order tracks arrived when promised, and the installer called to ask about adding wood behind the track brackets. A 2024 customer said the responding technician was rude about a main door opener problem and tried to sell a new unit for $650-plus when the RPM sensor, a $25 part by that customer's account, was the cause. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0635937, as active, held by CARLSON GARAGE DOORS INC. **Strengths:** - Same-hour visit — a recent customer said Greg came out within the hour - Spring replacement — a 2023 customer said a snapped spring took 30 minutes - Door install timing — a 2024 customer said doors arrived in 4 weeks as promised **Concerns:** - Opener upsell — a 2024 customer was offered a $650-plus new unit ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer said two garage doors were replaced and an old Craftsman opener was upgraded to a LiftMaster _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xwd1RXNWhhbWRFZGtSSE1UQjJlbVpKU21ZNWRtYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x628c5aab9c12756b!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlpwTW5hamdEdkRHMTB2emZJSmY5dmc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Excellent work and quality materials used to replace two garage doors after one was severely damaged and could not be repaired.
