That 2024 customer said Dustin emailed a detailed job bid within 2 days. Carrier Lawn and Landscape LLC is a lawn, landscape and hardscape company whose owner and founder, Dustin Carrier, guides customers through the design process, according to its own website. The company reports 17 years in business, and its Houzz profile says Dustin has dual degrees in landscape horticulture and business administration. A 2025 Google customer said they hired Carrier for the excavation work for a new foundation and that Dustin was very responsive throughout. A 2024 customer who asked Dustin for a retaining wall inspection and quote said he talked them out of his services in favor of some mitigation steps instead of a full rehab or replacement. A 2021 Houzz customer with an old lakeside camp said a new paver walkway with 16 granite steps was placed in 4 days. That 2021 customer also described 80 feet of shoreline rip rap and 2000 sq ft of sod, and said Dustin kept them informed of the DEP permitting process. A 2020 customer said Dustin's estimate came in higher than a second estimate, and that he took the time to explain why his retaining walls hold. In 2017, a customer said Carrier Landscaping installed a patio, granite steps and a sliding door, done on time and at the promised cost. A 2017 customer who had 3 contractors estimate the work said Mr. Carrier's was the most expensive quote. A 2017 customer said Dustin dug up around a recently replaced water pipe and sealed it with special cement, and after he finished there was no more water in the basement. A 2016 customer said Dustin Carrier created a patio and a flower garden surrounded by a curved stone wall. In 2015, a customer said they plowed when and where they said they would and called to ask whether the storm required a plow. A 2015 Houzz review from a firm said it had used Carrier for several years for snow removal, grass mowing and some landscaping. Carrier holds 4.4 stars from 40 Google ratings and 4.9 stars from 12 Houzz ratings, along with an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau. **Strengths:** - Retaining walls and stairways — a 2024 customer had 2 of each built - A quick, detailed bid — a 2024 customer got one within 2 days - Honest advice — a 2024 customer was steered to mitigation, not a full rebuild - A plow check-in — a 2015 customer said they called before plowing **Concerns:** - A higher estimate — a 2020 customer said it topped a second estimate ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A 2024 customer said Dustin and his dad completed 2 retaining walls, 2 stairways and a walkway, plus some lawn repair, in 3 and one half days as scheduled _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUMzMk1xdzl3RRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x4c420351bfada476!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIC32Mqw9wE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ We recently had a curb appeal job done by Carrier lawn and Landscape.
