## The honest read

A roof full of moss and mold is one of the jobs Cayne's Power Washing has taken on: a customer said Mason took off what he could without damaging any shingles and sprayed the rest to kill it. The company describes itself as an exterior cleaning business for homeowners and businesses throughout Northwest Connecticut, and its website lists a service area that includes Thomaston, Torrington, Litchfield, Farmington and Plymouth.

One house-washing customer texted Mason, heard back a few minutes later, had a quote a couple of days after that and the house washed a few days later; Mason brought his own equipment and water tanks, and the house turned out to be yellow, not green. A customer who called on a Facebook ad said Mason priced the job, finished it the next day as agreed and sent photos when it was done.

A customer getting ready to sell their home said Mason came out in the evening during the rain to get the job done on time. A customer wrote that Mason shows up on schedule and called the pricing fair.

**Strengths:**
- Roof moss removal — moss and mold cleared without damaging shingles
- Fast reply — Mason answered a text within minutes
- Next-day job — work finished the day after the quote was accepted
- Fair pricing — a customer called the pricing fair
