A recent customer who used the company to renovate a primary bathroom said Lisa and Eric kept them informed of progress and any delays, and that the cost estimate was "spot on." The company's website says it designs and builds whole-home remodels and family additions, and it names Hopkinton, Concord, New London, Sunapee, Andover and Hillsborough as its service area. A 2025 customer who hired the company to add a new bathroom to a log cabin home said the estimate was detailed and realistic, and that the work was completed on time and on budget. That 2025 customer said they also handled smaller jobs like plastering and putting wood panels on walls. A 2025 customer said their remodel covered replaced kitchen cabinets, luxury vinyl in place of wall to wall, a new countertop, backsplash, bathroom vanity and shower, and an enclosed porch addition. A 2025 customer who got a deck and sunroom said the company listened to their budget, looked for options that might save money, and went with the customer's husband to look at samples at different vendors. A 2025 customer said they redid parts of the siding on a 200-year-old barn and lifted and replaced a rotted sill. In 2025, Sandy of Sandra Curtis Design, LLC wrote that the Cecils and their team were responsive and thorough on a remodel for a client. In a 2024 review, a customer said the company redesigned an old 1930s-style garage and a tiny dated downstairs apartment into a 3-bedroom, 2-bath, two-story cottage, on budget. That 2024 customer said the paved front driveway was reconfigured into an arbor with grapevines and a gravel picnic area surrounded by pollinator plants. A 2024 customer whose home was hit by a tree said he fixed the house and communicated well throughout the project. **Strengths:** - An accurate estimate — a recent customer called the bathroom cost estimate spot on - Updates on delays — a recent customer was kept informed of progress and delays - An on-time bathroom addition — a 2025 customer said it finished on time and on budget - Old-barn siding repair — a 2025 customer said a rotted sill was replaced - A garage-to-cottage conversion — a 2024 customer described a 3-bedroom cottage redesign ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer said a primary bathroom renovation came with progress updates and a cost estimate that was spot on _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2s1U09EZzFORGxtZGtObk1WZG1VbWxCYlZOYVRuYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xb7ac36ecb46f5c4f!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOk5SODg1NDlmdkNnMVdmUmlBbVNaTnc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I used Cecil Design and Remodel to renovate a primary bathroom.
