Every review on record is five stars, and the specifics keep pointing to the same thing: floors that other contractors might pass on. In a 2021 review, a homeowner described 105-year-old attic bedroom floors in bad shape — Paul was upfront about how much work they'd need before turning them around, and another 2021 review described 70-year-old original oak floors, scuffed, water-stained and UV-faded, coming back "better than new". In a 2025 review, a couple who'd bought an antique Salisbury home with 300-to-400-year-old wide pine floors said the prep took more than expected, but Paul still finished as quoted and on schedule. Recent reviews from this spring and summer describe the same pattern on newer work — apartment buildings and a historic home where he's returned for multiple projects, keeping to deadlines and leaving the space clean, and a straightforward floor install finished quickly and cleanly. Pricing comes up repeatedly across reviews as reasonable or fair for the specialty work involved. For an older or unusual hardwood floor — historic house, antique wide pine, decades of wear — this is a specialist worth calling, particularly in the Haverhill/Merrimack Valley area his site lists as his territory. **Strengths:** - Old-floor specialist — restores century-old and antique wide-pine floors - Repeat customer work — returns for multiple projects, keeps deadlines - Fair pricing — reviewers repeatedly call the cost reasonable ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Reviews describe successfully restoring very old or heavily damaged hardwood floors, including 105-year-old attic floors and 300+-year-old wide pine floors _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2paWlNXaHNUM3BLYlRnNVFsaHdaMmhvYkRKcFpYYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x13c7afbb0de6f7ca!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjZZSWhsT3pKbTg5QlhwZ2hobDJpZXc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ My husband and I purchased an antique home in Salisbury with wide pine floors ranging in age between 300 and almost 400 years old.
