## The honest read

Central CT Chimney says it has been in business for 28 years. Its website lists chimney cleaning, inspection and repair, liner and cap installation, masonry repairs, chimney rebuilds, and air duct and dryer vent cleaning, and names Hartford, New Haven, Middlesex, Tolland, Litchfield, Fairfield, New London and Windham as its service area.

One recent Google customer noticed black soot inside the chimney and says the technician removed the buildup carefully and checked air flow. A customer whose chimney masonry was crumbling called for masonry repair and an inspection before winter, and says the technician explained everything clearly and left things clean. A recent reviewer says they cleaned out the fireplace and fixed the chimney crown.

A 2026 customer said Mike came by for some brick repair and that the price felt fair. A 2025 customer said Mike did a deep cleaning and flue inspection for an old house in West Haven. A 2025 Branford customer praised John's basic cleaning and smoke chamber repair on a heavily used wood stove.

- Chimney crown repair — a recent customer says they also cleaned the fireplace
- Brick repair — a 2026 customer said the price felt fair
