Its website lists residential construction, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, basement finishing, carpentry, land clearing, excavation, lawn renovation, landscaping, hardscaping and snow plowing, and the company says it has been in business for 30 years and offers free estimates. The service area it names includes Amesbury, Salisbury, Atkinson, Hampstead, Plaistow, Windham, Pelham and Exeter. Charest Builders recently finished a new patio, retaining wall and staircase for one customer, who says Tyler visited multiple times during the quoting process, the project was complete in less than a week, and on the final day they cleaned up everything, putting the driveway and yard back together and re-seeding. Earlier in 2026, another customer's old stamped concrete patio and walkway were dug up and replaced with Armortech pavers, and the side steps are now granite. One recent customer describes crisp edges, clean cuts and seamless transitions between different surfaces. In a 2024 review, Tyler and his crew tore out and replaced six 35-year-old shrubs, graded the area away from the foundation for water run-off and covered it with stone; that customer mentions a fair-priced quote, timely arrival and a clean-up that included the expansion joints in the cement walkway. In a separate 2024 review, Tyler installed a large paver backyard patio. **Strengths:** - Paver patios — Armortech pavers replaced an old stamped concrete patio - Job-site clean-up — driveway and yard put back together and re-seeded - Foundation grading — 2024 job graded the area away for water run-off ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Its website lists residential construction, remodeling, carpentry, land clearing, excavation, landscaping, hardscaping and snow plowing _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://charestbuilders.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Our Services Residential Construction Kitchen Remodeling Bathroom Remodeling Basement Finishing Carpentry L…” - Says it has been in business for 30 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://charestbuilders.com) — “Self-reported 30 years in business” - Names a service area including Amesbury, Salisbury, Atkinson, Hampstead, Plaistow, Windham, Pelham and Exeter _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://charestbuilders.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Amesbury, Salisbury, Atkinson, Hampstead, Plaistow, Windham, Pelham, Seacoast, Exeter” - Rated 4.7 stars on Google from 42 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Charest%20Builders&query_place_id=ChIJc8OU1PltbAwRT05hXLosSDI) — “Google: 4.7★ from 42 ratings” - Recently finished a new patio, retaining wall and staircase in less than a week, then restored the driveway and yard and re-seeded _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=3623195079144984143&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “5★ Charest Builders just finished a new patio, retaining wall, and staircase for us and we're incredibly happy with the final result!
