## The honest read

Chillie Willie Heating & A/C installs and services heat pumps, ductless mini-splits and gas furnaces. Its Houzz profile says the company specializes in Fujitsu ductless systems and Unico mini-duct high-velocity systems, and also installs tankless water heaters, high-efficiency boilers, gas furnaces and heat pumps.

A 2017 customer said William installed a couple of Fujitsu mini-splits and is certified as Fujitsu Elite. A 2017 reviewer wrote that William installed a Fujitsu mini-split system and was brought back the following year to install a second one. A 2017 customer said he put in a new gas furnace for just over $2,000, when other quotes ran from $3,100 to $6,100, and later had him install a new gas water heater. A 2017 reviewer who took estimates from five air conditioning installers said Willie came out several times to measure and size the units, then came back twice after the installation to explain each unit's functions.

A 2014 customer said Willie and his crew did a complete installation of a heat pump/AC, furnace and duct work in a conversion from oil to gas during the remodel of their home. A 2021 customer said Chillie Willie had serviced their mini-splits for years.

A 2025 Google reviewer said they left a message over a week ago and never got a response.

Connecticut lists its D1 heating and cooling licence, HTG.0395579-D1, as active, held by Chillie Willie Heating & A/C.

**Strengths:**
- Fair furnace price — a 2017 customer paid just over $2,000 versus higher quotes
- Careful unit sizing — a 2017 customer said Willie measured several times first
- A repeat mini-split install — a 2017 customer had him back for a second unit

**Concerns:**
- An unreturned message — a 2025 Google reviewer never got a response
