## The honest read

Two older outlets went on the fritz, and Chris came out fast: that is the January 2026 Google review behind Chris M. Strakose Electrician, a Montague electrician. The customer called him courteous, efficient and reasonable, and said his card is now on their fridge.

Chris M Strakose holds Massachusetts electrician licence 36550-EL-E, which is active. On Google he has 4.2 stars from 5 ratings, with written reviews from 2020 to 2026, and a June 2026 Nextdoor post in Greenfield suggested trying him.

In a July 2023 review, a customer said Chris was hired to run two lines and also installed what the lines went to, removed the old wires and diagnosed a separate electrical issue. A 2021 reviewer described an accurate estimate of costs and a willingness to modify plans.

In a November 2020 review, a customer who had a consultation that month said his quote was $1,000 more than other local electricians, found him rude, abrasive and unprofessional, and decided not to hire him. A June 2022 post on the same Google page, written in reply to that review, apologized for any rudeness and pointed to the stress of 2020, COVID and wearing masks.

**Strengths:**
- Fast outlet repair — January 2026 reviewer says he got there quickly
- Extra work on a job — 2023 reviewer's two-line run included diagnosis

**Concerns:**
- Consultation manner — a 2020 reviewer found him rude and declined to hire
- Quote level — same 2020 reviewer was $1,000 above other local bids
