## The honest read

Chris Masonry and Decks LLC describes itself on HomeAdvisor as locally owned and operated, serving the area for over 23 years. A recent customer had it replace a wooden deck with composite decking material. On HomeAdvisor it holds 5.0 stars from 10 ratings, and on Angi 4.8 stars from 6.

A recent Angi customer said the job was a re-trim and new screen on one portion of a deck and a complete rebuild of the other part. That customer said he kept them in the loop on some unexpected issues and would not take final payment until the last accent light was done.

In a 2024 review, a customer said Chris had put in a patio around their pool ten years earlier and not even one paver had moved; that 2024 customer said he most recently put in a decorative wall, a patio and bluestone on 2 sets of stairs. A 2021 customer said the new walks and repairs to existing steps were well done. A 2021 customer wrote that they worked around the rain and the front walkway was level afterward.

A 2025 Thumbtack customer said they came to the house with samples and explained the types, prices and colors. That 2025 customer said they did a deck and a balcony at the same time and got it done ahead of the projected deadline. A 2025 HomeAdvisor customer said Kosta gave ideas for the design of decks and patios. A 2025 customer said Chris and his crew rebuilt a porch from the ground up.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0645841, as active, held by Chris Masonry and Decks LLC.
