In her June 2026 review, Anna Henderson described a loud buzzing or motor noise from a GE refrigerator and concern about a possible electrical issue. A family member in the home was oxygen-dependent and unable to walk, making a possible fire hazard especially worrying. The woman who answered the phone listened to the description and suggested that the unused ice maker might have been accidentally switched on in an overpacked freezer. Henderson checked, found it on and switched it off; she said the noise had not returned. She also said the service call would have cost $129 and credited the phone help with avoiding that visit. Cluett’s is at 3 Mechanic Street in Ware. Its BBB description says it provides home appliances, including laundry equipment, refrigerators, cooking ranges, dishwashers and outdoor cooking products, and assists with delivery, installation and maintenance. The company reports 16 years in business and lists Chicopee, Leicester and Wales as service-area towns. It is BBB-accredited with an A+ grade, and Google lists 4.5 stars from 130 ratings. A May 2026 customer thanked Christina for help and said they restored the ice and water functions on a Samsung refrigerator by holding the lighting button for three seconds to release the child lock. A June refrigerator-delivery customer praised Josh and Anthony’s knowledge and courtesy. Another June reviewer said they had bought appliances there for years, praised prices and support for their purchases, and described the store as a locally owned family business. An April reviewer who worked for a company with more than 100 tenants praised staff assistance, appliance selection and delivery service. **Strengths:** - Refrigerator phone help — June customer resolved noise and avoided a $129 visit - Appliance delivery staff — June customer praised Josh and Anthony’s knowledge and courtesy - Repeat buyer support — June customer praised prices and support across years of purchases ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Cluett’s says it has been in business for 16 years. _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.cluetts.net) — “Self-reported 16 years in business” - The company lists Chicopee, Leicester and Wales as service-area towns. _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.cluetts.net) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Chicopee, Leicester, Wales” - Cluett’s BBB description says it provides home appliances and assists with delivery, installation and maintenance. _(confidence: medium)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/ware/profile/major-appliance-dealers/cluetts-home-appliance-center-0261-219536) — “About (Better Business Bureau, self-described): Cluett's Appliance provides home appliances, including laundry equipment, refrigeration unit…” - Cluett’s is BBB-accredited with an A+ grade. _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/ware/profile/major-appliance-dealers/cluetts-home-appliance-center-0261-219536) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/ware/profile/major-appliance-dealers/cluetts-home-appliance-center-0261-219536) — “Better Business Bureau: accredited / certified / member” - Google lists 4.5 stars from 130 ratings. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Cluett's&query_place_id=ChIJ45ai-Uq35okREWEE7CEi52M) — “Google: 4.5★ from 130 ratings” - In June 2026, Anna Henderson said phone guidance about an accidentally activated ice maker resolved her GE refrigerator noise and avoided a $129 service visit. _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=7198760058464002321&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “5★ I called Cluett’s Appliance Service today because my GE refrigerator was making a loud buzzing/motor noise and I was concerned it might b…” - A May 2026 customer thanked Christina for help and said they restored their Samsung refrigerator’s ice and water functions by releasing the child lock. _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=7198760058464002321&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “5★ Thank you Christina for all your help.
