CMJ Paving & Landscaping is a Springfield company, owned by Clinton Mitchell, offering driveway paving, snow removal, concrete work and landscaping restoration and maintenance across western Massachusetts — its website claims 25-plus years of experience and 150-plus completed jobs.

The two customer reviews on file describing actual work are positive: in 2024, a West Springfield couple called the owner "wonderful" and "honest," said he stands by his work and his employees, and were happy with how their driveway turned out; a separate Better Business Bureau review called a driveway job a "super job" and the owner dependable.

A more recent account tells a different story. In a December 2025 review, a customer described being in contact with the company since June 2025, getting the permit for a driveway job that October, then being unable to get a response — the original contact had left the company, the owner promised to finish before winter, but no one ever followed through or scheduled the work; the reviewer said the same thing happened to a neighbor.
