Last 6 months: 5 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read One deck customer said CMV Contracting worked directly with the building inspector to help secure the variance the deck needed. The company says it helps Southern New Hampshire homeowners with additions, custom decks and full remodels, and its website lists towns from Stratham and Exeter to Salem, Bedford and Concord. That deck customer said Chance came by, took measurements, discussed the project and gave a fair price and a clear timeline. The customer said the process took longer than expected due to city approvals and permitting, and that once the permit was issued the crew worked from early morning until sunset to complete the project. CMV Contracting insulated and finished one customer's garage; that customer said Chance and Loki were responsive to requests for specific types of materials and left the job site and garage clean. A customer with an emergency leak in the ceiling said it was patched right away at a reasonable cost. A 2025 customer said Chance and Loki did several small projects at their house in Auburn before it went on the market, and that the work was completed on schedule. That 2025 customer described them as having skills in general contracting, carpentry and electrical. On Google the company shows 5 stars from 6 ratings, and its Better Business Bureau page shows an A grade. **Strengths:** - A deck build — a customer got a fair price and a clear timeline - Permit help — worked with the building inspector on a deck variance - A clean garage finish — a customer said the job site was left clean - Emergency ceiling patch — a customer said it was handled right away ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it helps Southern New Hampshire homeowners with additions, custom decks and full remodels _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://cmv-contracting.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): CMV Contracting helps Southern New Hampshire homeowners add space, light, and comfort to the places that ma…” - Lists a service area including Stratham, Exeter, Portsmouth, Salem, Bedford and Concord _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://cmv-contracting.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Stratham, Brentwood, Exeter, Portsmouth, Windham, Hampstead, Atkinson, Bedford, Londonderry, Salem, Rye…” - A deck customer said the company worked with the building inspector to help secure a variance and gave a fair price and a clear timeline _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21neGJtTmlkVW8xZUZjMkxYbHNTRXhqVVZKUlQzYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xc14384e5cd0a79fe!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmgxbmNidUo1eFc2LXlsSExjUVJRT3c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I highly recommend CMV Contracting.
