The company describes itself as a full service design center that does everything from adding a kitchen island or bathroom vanity to large-scale remodeling projects, and says it has been in business 47 years. A recent Google customer described a bathroom remodel with floor and wall tile, heated floors, a Kohler smart toilet, a large double vanity, a quartz countertop and a new shower with quartz trim matching the counter. That customer said John partnered with Jason at Central Connecticut Building & Remodeling to coordinate the subcontractors, and that waiting on the town inspector halted work twice, which they put down to local town bureaucracy. A recent Google customer said John Yates visited their home to take preliminary measurements for a kitchen and bathroom renovation that included new countertops, sinks, faucets and medicine cabinets. A 2026 customer said a kitchen job was completed within the timeline provided. A 2025 customer said they did the demo themselves on a small bathroom that ended up with a glass shower enclosure and a Kohler tank-in-wall toilet. A 2023 customer said John came to their house to do measurements, presented a detailed plan, returned to check the cabinets coming off the truck and spoke to their carpenter during the install, all within their budget. A 2023 customer said John Yates convinced them to go with a wall-hung toilet with an in-wall carrier, which gave them an additional 10 inches between the toilet and the vanity. A 2024 customer said certain materials were not immediately available when needed because of a COVID supply chain interruption. A 2017 Houzz customer said a remodel of two bathrooms took a little longer than expected, more the contractor's responsibility than John's. A 2017 Houzz customer said the cabinets had a few dings on arrival from the manufacturer, and that John quickly contacted a restoration company to touch them up. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0639711, as expired, held by CONNECTICUT KITCHEN & BATH STUDIO LLC. **Strengths:** - Subcontractor coordination — a recent customer said John partnered with a remodeler on it - A kept timeline — a 2026 customer said the kitchen met the timeline provided - A detailed kitchen plan — a 2023 customer got one after home measurements **Concerns:** - Material delays — a 2024 customer cited a COVID supply chain interruption - Cabinet dings — a 2017 customer said cabinets arrived dinged, then were touched up ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 4.8 stars from 50 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Connecticut%20Kitchen%20%26%20Bath%20Studio%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJt_wV7Dip54kR_SKAk1y24xM) — “Google: 4.8★ from 50 ratings” - 4.8 stars from 19 Houzz ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-designers/connecticut-kitchen-and-bath-studio-pfvwus-pf~1703908057) — “Houzz: 4.8★ from 19 ratings” - BBB grade of A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/avon/profile/bathroom-design/connecticut-kitchen-bath-studio-llc-0111-87119218) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - Describes itself as a full service design center, from a kitchen island or bathroom vanity to large-scale remodeling, and says it has been in business 47 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://ctkitchenandbath.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Connecticut Kitchen & Bath Studio LLC is a full service design center that does everything from adding a ki…” - [Official Website](https://ctkitchenandbath.com) — “Self-reported 47 years in business” - A recent bathroom remodel with heated floors, a double vanity, a quartz countertop and a new shower _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25SbVZrNUdWR2haWVcxbkxXdFFWakZUVmxkdFZXYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x13e3b65c938022fd!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnRmVk5GVGhZYW1nLWtQVjFTVldtVWc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We and completely thrilled with our bathroom remodel and highly recommend Connecticut Kitchen & Bath Studio!
