## The honest read

Coupe's Cuts Lawn Service offers weekly or bi-weekly lawn mowing, and its website says mowing includes trimming and edging of walks and driveways. The company says it has been in business 28 years.

A 2024 customer said they had used Adam and crew since 2018 for lawn mowing, brush and shrub removal, tree planting, a stone retaining wall, bed mulching, pool landscaping, a gravel shed base and snow removal. A 2024 customer with a fairly big lot of old trees said Coupe's finished the spring yard cleanup in under 2 hours, after another company had taken 3 days the year before.

A 2024 customer said Adam came over right away, gave a quote that day and started once he finished the neighbor's house. That 2024 customer said the garden beds had years of neglect from the prior owner, and Adam also took care of several large dips in the lawn. A 2025 customer had lawn aeration and over seeding done and said Adam laid out all the options and explained everything. A 2025 customer said they got a quote and the work done the same day.

A 2022 customer gave 1 star, saying the yard work that year was slow and they were charged over 1K for weeding a 20x30 plot. A recent customer gave 3 stars after asking for a quote and never hearing back.

**Strengths:**
- Spring yard cleanup — a 2024 customer said it was done in under 2 hours
- Same-day quote — a 2025 customer got a quote and work the same day
- Lawn aeration — a 2025 customer said Adam explained all the options

**Concerns:**
- Unanswered quote request — a recent customer never heard back after asking
- Weeding bill — a 2022 customer said it was slow and over 1K
