## The honest read

Creative Craftsmen is a wood-floor outfit: its website pitches flooring for homes and businesses in Dover, NH, handled from selection to installation. The company says it offers free estimates, and its site lists a service area that includes Hampton, Exeter, Durham, Somersworth, Newmarket and Epping. On both Angi and HomeAdvisor it shows 5.0 stars from 20 ratings.

A recent Angi customer said Jeff and his team came on time, did a fine job on their floors and cleaned up after themselves. A 2026 customer said he did the work on schedule.

A 2023 customer said they hired Scott, Jeff and his crew three times over a year to refinish about 1,500 square feet of 50-year-old oak flooring throughout the house. That 2023 customer also praised their dust collection. In a 2023 review, a customer said Scott and Jeff gave a free in-person quote within the day, sealed off the surroundings, and removed, replaced and refinished a damaged wood floor with multiple coats of poly over parts of three days. A 2024 customer said Jeff kept them informed through a project that took a little over a week, and that their 116-year-old floors looked great.

A 2022 customer described 56-year-old white oak floors restored to like-new and old pine board stairs fitted with new red oak treads. A 2022 customer said they repaired a wooden floor that had warped.

In a 2020 review, a retired general contractor said Jeff and Scott refinished an old mill floor in a condo the reviewer had bought, and stuck by their estimate even though the job, with years of build-up on a rock maple floor, was tougher than anticipated. That 2020 reviewer added that they show up in an old pickup truck, ready to work.

A 2021 customer said Jeff and Nathan did major repairs on their garage. A 2021 customer wrote that Jeff cleaned out the gutters and replaced a broken window shutter.
