## The honest read

Pool surrounds, retaining walls and patios are the jobs Creative Minds Landscaping LLC gets hired for. The company lists its service area as New Milford, York, Litchfield, Roxbury, Torrington and Woodbury, and on Angi says it has served the local area since 2012.

A 2021 customer said the company did all the masonry and landscaping on a large pool project, including the pool coping, patio tile, retaining walls, staircase, path, plantings, seeding and mulch, over six weeks. That 2021 customer said that within two days the mason crew found stones on the property to build a wall at one end of the patio that was not part of the plan. A 2025 customer said Chris handled the stonework, patio and landscaping portion of a pool project on a sloped yard, and that the project took four months and was completed in October 2024. A 2025 customer said he installed retaining walls and pillars for a pool patio and water feature.

Upkeep is part of the work too. A 2026 customer said Christian and his crew handled mulching and trimming, moved lawn furniture indoors for the season and shoveled the sidewalks. A 2023 customer said they had used the company for years for seasonal yard work and maintenance, plus fence installation, snow removal, land clearing and stone work repairs, and named Cristian as the owner.

A recent customer says Cris and his team guided them throughout and the area stayed clean through the project. A recent customer says Cristian was responsive and flexible and the whole job went smoothly.

A 2024 customer wrote that Cristian Sanchez stopped replying to their emails and texts. A 2026 customer called its property services and customer service terrible. A 2023 customer said river rock and sod work had some hiccups and was not always perfect, but ended with a finished product they were happy with.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0649184, as active, held by Creative Minds Landscaping LLC.

**Strengths:**
- Pool project stonework — a 2021 customer described coping, walls and patio tile
- A clean work area — a recent customer says it stayed clean
- Long-term yard upkeep — a 2023 customer used them for years

**Concerns:**
- Unanswered messages — a 2024 customer said emails and texts went unanswered
- A bumpy river-rock job — a 2023 customer reported hiccups before a good finish
