That customer said Crystal Restoration, LLC thoroughly dried the area, preventing mold, and saved both the new carpet and the renovation work. The company's website says it provides residential and commercial emergency mitigation services throughout Connecticut and describes the business as veteran-owned and operated. It also lists 24/7 emergency service. A recent customer who had dealt with a previous mitigation company said Crystal Restoration took the time to thoroughly assess the damage, explain the process and answer all of their questions. A recent reviewer said Sean was always there to help answer questions and personally made sure they were happy with the finished result. A recent customer said the company handled their water-damage cleanup and that you would never know there had been any damage. For one recent customer, the job was a rental property in Westbrook, and they said Crystal did a better job cleaning it than they had as owners. A 2026 customer said a failed drainpipe in an upstairs bathroom flooded three floors, and that the company showed up almost immediately after the adjuster assessed the damage. That 2026 customer said Angel and his team tore out the affected area, dryers and fans were placed, and the home was left cleaned up and ready for their contractor to start repairs. A 2025 customer whose shower leak put water into the wall and subflooring said the company took care of all the work with their insurance company. A 2025 customer who came back from vacation to a flooded kitchen said Don was there the same day. In a 2025 review, a customer with extensive basement water damage said Don was hired by their insurance company to do the cleanup and helped settle the claim while he was still not getting paid. A 2025 customer whose house was built in 1730 said the team got right back to them and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The company holds an A+ grade and accreditation with the Better Business Bureau, where an undated review criticizes its interior water-damage and mold work. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0665172, as active, held by CRYSTAL RESTORATION LLC. **Strengths:** - A basement dry-out — a recent customer said new carpet and renovation were saved - Clear explanations — a recent customer said the process was explained and questions answered - A same-day visit — a 2025 customer said Don came the same day - Insurance work handled — a 2025 customer said they took care of the insurer **Concerns:** - A BBB complaint — an undated review criticizes its interior water-damage work ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Water-damage cleanup in homes _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25Fd1ptSmtNVGt0VUMxSk16Rk9iMng1Y1had2MzYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xfec86e9f6d7d9d73!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnEwZmJkMTktUC1JMzFOb2x5cXZwc3c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We recently had our basement renovated and carpet installed.
