Last 6 months: 6 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read One recent CT Duct Work customer asked for an AC duct cleaning over a musty odor and was told the vents were not dirty and the brush cleaning was unnecessary. What that customer got instead was a microbial fog sprayed through the vent system, at 1/4 of the cost of the duct cleaning quoted. The company holds a 5-star Google rating from 63 ratings. A recent customer said Jacob and Jacob cleaned all 11 vents plus the main central air unit and the dryer vent, cleaned the bathroom vent as well, and took 2 hours. A customer who recently had the dryer vent cleaned said the dryer is running noticeably better now. A recent customer said Jacob fixed a couple of things he noticed and charged less than he had quoted. A 2025 customer said Jacob and Jeff cleaned 7 supply ducts, 1 return duct, 1 dryer vent and 3 heat radiators in about 2 hours 30 minutes, with a total around $600-700. That 2025 customer wrote that the radiators were blown out for free. A 2025 customer whose air ducts had not been cleaned for 20 years said over 30 vents were cleaned in less than 5 hours, with before and after photos taken of each vent. A 2024 customer said the air ducts were cleaned and repaired in less than 30 minutes because of a birds nest that customer had not known about. A 2024 customer said they were told the ductwork was fine and did not need a cleaning, when a well known company was going to charge $550. A 2024 customer said Jacob assessed the AC and dryer ducts and showed why the work could wait until next year. A 2024 customer whose dryer vent was full of water and clogged said the vent was completely cleaned out at a fair price, and gave 4 stars because they were a bit late to show up due to outside circumstances of one of the employees. **Strengths:** - Unneeded cleaning skipped — a recent customer was told the vents were not dirty - Price below quote — a recent customer said Jacob charged less than quoted - A better-running dryer — a recent customer said so after the vent cleaning - Before and after photos — a 2025 customer said each vent was photographed **Concerns:** - A late arrival — a 2024 customer said they were a bit late ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Holds a 5-star Google rating from 63 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Ct%20Duct%20Work&query_place_id=ChIJeyTSPsFL5okRG1Us79wGHeA) — “Google: 5★ from 63 ratings” - Told a recent customer the vents were not dirty and sprayed a microbial fog for 1/4 of the quoted duct-cleaning cost _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25vdE1YUlNla1V5UjFjNFJGaEtabWhZVkVWbU5VRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xe01d06dcef2c551b!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnotMXRSekUyR1c4RFhKZmhYVEVmNUE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Requested an AC duct cleaning due to a musty odor emitting when unit was on.
