## The honest read

CT Electrical Contractors holds 5 stars from 33 Google ratings, and the company says on its website that it has been in business for 20 years. A 2023 customer called Brandon the head of CT Electrical Contractors.

A recent customer said Brandon replaced the exterior electric meter housing on their home, a project that required coordination with EverSource and the town to meet code requirements. A recent customer said Brandon handled the installation of a Generac whole-house generator and that everything was explained clearly. A recent customer said Brandon did the electrical work when they updated their kitchen, coordinated with their other contractors, and laid down a blanket so he didn't track dirt through the house; that customer said the screws on every plate cover were aligned in the same direction. A recent customer said Brandon installed an outlet and got the job done quickly.

A 2026 customer said Brandon quickly found a short in their wiring. A 2026 customer said Brandon helped install a new solar inverter and a new subpanel. A 2026 customer said Brandon and Brian did the electrical on a kitchen remodel in their 75-year-old home, which now has a wall outlet for a flat screen TV, a kitchen island outlet and outlets for USB charging.

A 2025 customer with flickering lights said other electricians they called would not help, while this company answered, called back to see if it could troubleshoot over the phone, and then sent an electrician right away. That 2025 customer said the electrician coordinated with Eversource to help diagnose the issue and left his Valentine's Day dinner to come. A 2025 customer said Brandon came out within a day of the call to look at their setup for an electric-car charging station and talked them out of more expensive options. A 2025 customer said Brandon assessed the rooms where they wanted new fixtures and under-cabinet lighting and completed the entire job in one day.

A 2024 customer said Brandon put in a dozen pots, a ceiling fan, a small electrical panel and a few outlets for the price he quoted. A 2023 customer said Brandon and his team did all the electrical work for a major home renovation, installing new outlets, breakers, smart switches, thermostats, heated bath fans and hard-wired fire alarms, and that their pricing was comparable to other estimates.
