## The honest read

CT GutterPro is a Branford gutter company: cleanings, repairs, replacements and gutter guards. On Google it shows 4.8 stars from 159 ratings.

A recent customer called about a long-overdue cleaning on a two-story house in Branford; they showed up on time and rinsed down the patio afterward. A recent customer had old, rusty sectional gutters replaced with new 6-inch seamless gutters. A recent customer said the team resealed leaky seams and replaced sagging hangers without forcing a full replacement. A recent customer said the 2-person team answered an online query for gutter cleaning within less than an hour and came out within 24 hours.

A 2026 customer said Mike the owner answered the phone on the first ring about an ice dam on a gutter three stories up.

A recent 2-star customer said that within a month or so of a repair the gutters completely failed and water was pouring down on all sides of the house. A recent 2-star customer said a crew agreed to return the following Friday to install gutter guard and modify downspouts, and did not arrive. A 2024 customer said the install was rained out, a later date was missed, and a $1k deposit had not been returned a week after asking for it. A 2025 customer said a portion of the gutters and siding had to be replaced after the company's install.

The website lists free estimates and a service area of 14 towns from Madison to Old Lyme, and says the company has 40 years in business. Its BBB grade is B-.

**Strengths:**
- Fast response — a recent customer was answered within an hour
- Repair over replacement — a recent customer had seams resealed and hangers replaced

**Concerns:**
- A failed repair — a recent customer said gutters failed within about a month
- A missed return visit — a recent customer said the crew did not arrive
- An unreturned deposit — a 2024 customer was still owed $1k
