After a northeaster dropped a large tree across that customer's walkway, they say Will called back less than 10 minutes after their voicemail, and he and his crew arrived within the hour and restored the walkway. A recent customer says Will and crew (Chet and Ben) did a tree removal and trimming project to prepare for a home addition, charged by full or half day rather than per tree, and cut stumps very close to ground level. A customer says Will finished a pruning job faster than he estimated and charged less than they expected. A tree worker of 30 years says Will dropped off a dump trailer for the day so they could get rid of brush on a job at a friend's house in Exeter. In a 2025 review, a customer said Curtis Tree Care arrived in less than an hour and had their cat, Emma, safely down from 30–35 feet up a tree in under an hour. A 2024 customer said the price was almost 50% less than another quote and that Curtis Tree Care did not require the 50% upfront payment the other company did. In a 2023 review, a customer said Will proposed shaping a family maple split by a large limb into a half-height tree, where another quote said to take it down. A 2022 customer said Will rescued a Magnolia they thought had died and later stopped by to check on the tree. A seacoastonline.com article names Curtis Tree Care among the companies that participated. **Strengths:** - Fast storm response — a recent customer says the crew arrived within the hour - Day-rate pricing — a recent customer says cost ran by full or half day - Tree preservation — a 2023 customer said Will reshaped a split maple instead - Pet rescue — a 2025 customer said their cat was down in under an hour - Low stump cuts — a recent customer says stumps were cut close to ground ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 150 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Curtis%20Tree%20Care&query_place_id=ChIJISs6rMVCykoRyQBjRJa_G0E) — “Google: 5★ from 150 ratings” - A customer describes the company as led by owner Will Curtis _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pCRGVYVldZa2hKZDBwcU1ubFpNbVJwVUcxNFQzYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x411bbf96446300c9!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjBDeXVWYkhJd0pqMnlZMmRpUG14T3c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Outstanding Service When We Needed It Most! ⭐️️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ When a fierce northeaster storm struck our area, we woke up to find a large tree …” - After a storm, a customer says Will called back in under 10 minutes and the crew arrived within the hour _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pCRGVYVldZa2hKZDBwcU1ubFpNbVJwVUcxNFQzYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x411bbf96446300c9!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjBDeXVWYkhJd0pqMnlZMmRpUG14T3c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Outstanding Service When We Needed It Most! ⭐️️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ When a fierce northeaster storm struck our area, we woke up to find a large tree …” - A customer says a removal and trimming project was charged by full or half day, with stumps cut close to ground level _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21kTWJ6VlFjMEZDZW0xeFRuUnFNMkZLU0dOM1ZrRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x411bbf96446300c9!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmdMbzVQc0FCem1xTnRqM2FKSGN3VkE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Will and crew (Chet and Ben) did a fantastic job on a tree removal and trimming project to prepare for a home addition.
