He is the person customers describe planning the job, bringing in the subcontractors and answering their questions. The Bellingham company says it builds new homes, including ENERGY STAR qualified ones, and handles kitchen, bathroom and whole-house remodels. BuildZoom lists Bradley Wright as the owner. In a February 2024 review, a couple who bought one of its homes in 2016 while it was still under construction described coming back for a finished basement with a full bath, office and family room. In May 2022, they returned again for a deck expansion with a garage underneath. Another February 2024 reviewer had the company build a new home from out of state, then hired it to finish the basement shortly after moving in. A March 2024 reviewer had a kitchen redone within budget and brought Brad back a few years later for smaller projects. In another February 2024 review, a customer described a more-than-1,000-square-foot in-law addition finished in 2022. They picked Brad out of four bids, aimed to keep overruns under 5%, and ended at 2%, mostly from their own changes. In a March 2026 review, a homeowner described replacing an entire heating and cooling system and adding a second-floor shed dormer, work that ran from a first conversation in late July to completion in early January. That customer said Brad answered every question no matter the time of day and planned to have the company build a garage next. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #210627, is active on the state registry. Houzz also lists licence number CSL 060671. On Houzz, the company holds 5.0 stars from 8 ratings. **Strengths:** - Repeat clients — reviewers came back for basements, a deck and smaller jobs - Budget discipline — a 2022 in-law addition ended just 2% over - Responsive builder — a March 2026 reviewer got answers at any hour ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration #210627 is active on the state registry _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 210627 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: Custom Builders, LLC” - Houzz lists licence number CSL 060671 _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/home-builders/custom-builders-llc-pfvwus-pf~1830778525) — “Licence listed on Houzz: CSL 060671” - Bellingham builder of new homes, including ENERGY STAR qualified homes, that also does kitchen, bathroom and whole-house remodels _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://custombuildersllc.com) — “A Bellingham, Massachusetts residential builder and remodeler that builds ENERGY STAR qualified new homes and handles kitchen, bathroom and …” - [Official Website](https://custombuildersllc.com) — “Stated certification/affiliation: ENERGY STAR Partner” - BuildZoom lists Bradley Wright as the owner _(confidence: medium)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/custom-builders-llc-bellingham-ma) — “BuildZoom's profile for Custom Builders, LLC at 5 Welker Way, Bellingham, MA (owned by Bradley Wright) shows a BZ Score of 90 on a verified-…” - 5.0 stars from 8 ratings on Houzz _(confidence: high)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/home-builders/custom-builders-llc-pfvwus-pf~1830778525) — “Houzz: 5.0★ from 8 ratings” - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/home-builders/custom-builders-llc-pfvwus-pf~1830778525) — “Houzz's profile for Custom Builders LLC of 5 Welker Way, Bellingham, MA shows a 5.0 average from 8 written reviews (Work Quality 5.0 / Commu…” - Repeat clients describe return projects, including basements, a deck and garage, and smaller jobs _(confidence: high)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/home-builders/custom-builders-llc-pfvwus-pf~1830778525) — “5★ I’ve known Brad for over 25 years and worked with him professionally .
