## The honest read

Cutting Edge Landscaping, LLC lists 13 towns in its service area on its website, among them Ansonia, Derby, Milford, Seymour, Shelton and Woodbridge.

A 2025 customer wrote that the company had looked after their grounds for much of the 25 years they have lived in their house. That 2025 customer said it contracted for a new driveway, repaired a back patio, installed fencing, removed snow in the winter, and did spring and fall cleanups and weekly lawn maintenance. A 2025 customer called Chris their go-to for landscaping and described the work as fairly priced.

A recent customer says the company gave an estimate for a spring backyard cleanup and agreed on a price, but weeks later no one had come to do it. A 2024 customer said the person answering the phone was rude and told them the company would not cut their grass. The same 2024 customer said leaves they paid to have collected and thrown away were left piled up.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0583907, as active, held by Cutting Edge Landscaping LLC.

**Strengths:**
- Long-term grounds care — a 2025 customer said they handled the grounds for years
- Fair pricing — a 2025 customer described the work as fairly priced

**Concerns:**
- A stalled cleanup — a recent customer says no one came weeks after agreeing
- Phone conduct — a 2024 customer said the person answering was rude
- Uncollected leaves — a 2024 customer said paid leaf removal was left piled up

**Where sources disagree:**
- A 2022 caller said they were told the company does not do snow removal, while a 2025 customer said it removed their snow in the winter.
