HomeAdvisor lists the company with 32 years in business and free estimates. The public record here is thin. Google shows a 4.3-star rating across six ratings, but only one of those includes any written detail: a 2021 review describing the owner as brusque when a 97-year-old customer needed help getting a mower into the driveway for service, calling him no help at all. With so little written history to go on, it's worth asking directly about scheduling and communication before booking, and treating the star rating as a starting point rather than the full picture. **Strengths:** - Local reputation — Google shows 4.3 stars across six ratings - Established operator — HomeAdvisor cites 32 years in business **Concerns:** - Owner responsiveness — a 2021 review described the owner as unhelpful ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Family-owned lawn care and landscaping company based in Haverhill, serving the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://www.cuttingedgelawn1.com) — “Cutting Edge Lawn Service is a family-owned lawn care and landscaping company based at 345 Groveland Street, Haverhill, MA, serving the Merr…” - Stated service area includes Haverhill, Andover, North Andover, Methuen, West Newbury, Newburyport, Newbury, Groveland, Georgetown, Bradford, Boxford, Merrimac, Amesbury, Plaistow, and Salem _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://www.cuttingedgelawn1.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Haverhill, Andover, North Andover, Methuen, West Newbury, Newburyport, Newbury, Groveland, Georgetown, …” - HomeAdvisor lists the company with 32 years of experience and free estimates _(confidence: medium)_ - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.CuttingEdgeLawnService.44174558.html) — “HomeAdvisor lists Cutting Edge Lawn Service at 345 Groveland Street, Haverhill, MA as a family-owned lawn and garden care and snow removal c…” - Google rating stands at 4.3 stars from 6 ratings _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google](https://maps.google.com/?cid=7992694391449215625&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “Google: 4.3★ from 6 ratings” - In a 2021 review, a customer described the owner as brusque and unwilling to help move a mower for service _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUQ2b3JqSUlREAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x6eebc133b0966289!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgID6orjIIQ%7C%7C?hl=en) — “1★ Let's call it brusk instead of rude.
