The company describes itself as a home improvement contractor in the Greater Hartford Area that has served homeowners since 1976. A recent customer, Manny Ambrosio, said Bryan came to the first meeting to talk through what needed to be done and called the quotes the best they had received. A 2026 customer said Dave was thorough in his quote and that the yard was left just how they found it after cleanup. In a 2023 review, a customer said Dave was the only contractor to diagnose the problem properly and stopped a leaky flat roof from leaking, with no leak since September 2022. A 2022 reviewer with a circa 1900 house said Dave advised against ridge vents because of the house's balloon framing and uninsulated walls, and fixed a gutter problem tied to a sagging porch by adding a leader. That 2022 customer also said it took a while to get on his schedule, and that his son, Bryan, came back the next day for a final sweep and clean-up. A 2012 Houzz reviewer said the company replaced siding and repaired roof areas damaged by a tree; when one hole was missed because of debris, Dave Radomski responded quickly, inspected the roof and repaired it. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0509749, is active on the state registry, held by D H Radomski Inc. **Strengths:** - Flat roof repair — a 2023 customer said no leak since September 2022 - Old-house roofing advice — a 2022 reviewer said Dave tailored advice to their house - A clean yard — a 2026 customer said it was left as they found it **Concerns:** - Scheduling wait — a 2022 reviewer said getting on his schedule took a while ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A 2025 Reddit commenter said they used the company for a roof, siding, gutters and deck in 2023 and were very happy with the work _(confidence: medium)_ - [reddit.com](https://www.reddit.com/r/Connecticut/comments/1k7lcp9/anyone_know_a_good_contractor_to_build_a_deck_in/mp0hzdk/) — “r/connecticut — We used DH Radomski for the roof, siding, gutters and deck when we bought our house in 2023 Recommended by our RE Agent. …” - Describes itself as a Greater Hartford Area home improvement contractor serving homeowners since 1976 _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.dhradomski.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): D.H.
