The company says it has been in business 40 years. One customer worked with Doug on a large renovation project on a historic home, where he did the painting, installed bathroom vanities and blinds, and completed the work according to the estimates he provided. A customer who wanted exterior, mostly cosmetic work said Doug refinished the deck, installed a motion light on the barn and kept the pricing very fair. One customer said the job covered replacing stairs and fixing a garage header, with an on-time arrival and everything cleaned up afterward. After an ice dam leak left a hole in a kitchen ceiling, a customer said Daubs identified mold in the ceiling space, remediated it and fixed the drywall. A customer who had an above-ground pool installed said the work was scheduled around the weather and a follow-up visit checked that everything was working properly. When one customer had an emergency, Doug rearranged his schedule to help on a Friday. A customer said Doug cleared fallen trees and debris. A 2026 customer said Doug ordered and installed doors, fans and overhead lights. **Strengths:** - Historic-home renovation — painting, vanities and blinds completed according to the estimates - Mold and drywall repair — mold remediated after an ice dam leak - Emergency help — Doug rearranged his schedule to help on a Friday - A deck refinish — paired with a motion light install on a barn ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5-star Google rating from 14 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Daubs%20Maintenance%20%26%20Repair&query_place_id=ChIJT1m2AbMdBgwRUtbsAQdWNNg) — “Google: 5★ from 14 ratings” - Says it has been in business 40 years _(confidence: low)_ - [Official Website](http://daubsdoesit.com) — “Self-reported 40 years in business” - Painting, bathroom vanity and blind installs on a historic-home renovation, completed according to the estimates _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21SVVVreExRMkpTYUVVME9WWlFjVkZhYkdzd1lrRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xd834560701ecd652!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmRUUkxLQ2JSaEU0OVZQcVFabGswYkE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I am so pleased to have found Doig given he is so professional, a great communicator, and gets the work done.
