## The honest read

Davis Fuels says its Epsom, New Hampshire company offers fuel oil, propane gas, kerosene and diesel for home heating, and that the family-owned business was established in 1997. A 2025 commenter on r/newhampshire said they called Davis on Tuesday morning and it came, swapped tanks and filled the new tank before they got home from work. It holds 4.3 stars from 36 Google ratings and an A+ grade on the Better Business Bureau.

A recent customer called the company punctual and said it supplies their propane. A 2026 customer said they use Davis for both oil and propane, and that Ben did an emergency service call on a Sunday. A 2025 customer who changed over from Amerigas said their furnace was red tagged on a Wednesday and Davis Fuels was there on a weekend with the installation of a new one. A 2025 customer named Rick and Nate and said that after a Wednesday call, tanks and piping were in the next day. A 2025 customer who was calling around for oil said that as a new customer they got a delivery the next day. A 2025 customer who had switched from another local company praised the prompt delivery and said the technicians diagnosed, repaired and cleaned their furnace. A 2024 customer said the tech solved a noise problem and showed them how to remedy it, while noting the price was sometimes a little higher.

A 2023 customer of 25 years said that when Davis could not get out to them they took a delivery from another company, and when they later called about a furnace issue they were told they were no longer a customer. A 2023 customer said they called two days in a row during business hours to get a fill and got no answer and no call back. A 2024 customer wrote that it was their impression bills were intentionally not sent so late fees could be charged.

- **5/5 · Google Reviews · Powerful YOU Yoga with Stacey · 2025-02-27**: We switched from another local company last year to Davis Fuels and have never been happier. Between the customer service, prompt delivery and their knowledgable technicians who efficiently diagnose and repair (and clean!) our furnace. Huge thank you to a local company who truly has a heart for this…
