## The honest read

In a 2025 Google review, Richard Linck wrote that DD Construction of MA, owned by Jason Arruda, demolished a 16' x 16' shed that was decomposing and moldy. He said Jason ordered a 30 yard dumpster, a crew of 3 men took the building down the next day, and they came back for two hours the day after that to finish and clean up. That 2025 customer said the cost was appropriate for the work.

In a 2025 review, a customer said Jason and his crew replaced the roof on their house and then on their garage, at reasonable pricing. A 2025 reviewer who had roofing and windows done said Jason Arruda spent hours going over the planned renovations, the roofing crew finished in one day, the window installation a few days later also took one day, and the invoice did not have to be paid until the job was finished. In 2025, a customer whose home had storm damage said Jason came the very next day to check it out and his team fixed the aluminum wrap within the week.

A 2024 customer said the DD Roofing team replaced their mom's extremely old roof and that Jay explained exactly how everything would take place. In 2024, a customer with a leak in the basement from the corner of the house said Jason came out, inspected it personally and walked through the potential fix and cost, and his crew fixed the issue. A 2024 reviewer said they referred Jason to a woman who needed new siding and a roof, that he did her job at a reasonable price, and that the reviewer then hired him to do an addition and two bathrooms at their own house.

Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 214642, is active on the state registry, with DD Construction & Remodeling, LLC as the holder of record.

A 2025 Google reviewer who hired DD Construction to install vinyl siding said the company was not properly licensed to do the work and was not able to get the building permit, and that the owner lied to them. That 2025 customer said they were told it was a 10 day job, and it took 36 days to completion.

**Strengths:**
- A shed demolition — a 2025 customer said a crew of 3 took it down
- One-day roofing job — a 2025 customer said the roofing crew finished in one day
- A basement leak fix — a 2024 customer said the crew fixed the issue
- Invoice after completion — a 2025 customer paid once the job was finished

**Concerns:**
- Licence and permit — a 2025 siding customer said no building permit was obtained
- A 36-day siding job — a 2025 customer was told it would take 10 days
- Honesty complaint — a 2025 customer said the owner lied to them
