## The honest read

Delta Mechanical Contractors, LLC describes itself on its website as a provider of commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing and fire protection installations throughout New England, and says it has been in business 35 years.

A recent Google customer had David do a sump pump job. That customer said one of the pipes started leaking a couple of months after the installation, and that David said he would return to fix it but stopped returning their texts.

A 2026 customer wrote that the company had maintained and serviced their HVAC systems in a school environment and took the time to explain issues clearly. In 2024, an article on providencejournal.com said the Delta Mechanical crew carried and pieced pipes together, ensuring their pitch was perfect and level.

Rhode Island lists a plumber licence, MP001953, held by Michael R Spooner, and an HVAC licence, 00008328, held by Jeffrey A Mathews, both as active.

**Strengths:**
- School HVAC service — a 2026 customer said issues were explained clearly

**Concerns:**
- Sump pump follow-up — a recent customer said a promised repair visit never came
