Demetrius Pettway Roofing is a Trumbull roofing and softwashing company, and its Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles say it has served Fairfield and New Haven counties for over 30 years. Its Angi reviews date from 2020 to 2026. In an August 2026 review, Demetrius replaced a roof that was almost 30 years old at a very competitive price. A January 2025 customer had 4 buildings roofed, a house, 2 barns and a free standing garage, with the crew cleaning up every day. A May 2024 review describes a new roof on a Dutch colonial style house, and an August 2020 customer said the team did a great job installing handsplit cedar shingles. Power washing appears as well: an April 2026 review, and an August 2025 customer who had trim and siding cleaned and a front walk and patio powerwashed. A May 2021 reviewer hired them on a Thursday and had the roof finished on Saturday. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.7★ from 199 ratings. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0601315, held by Demetrius Pettway, is active. **Strengths:** - Hands-on estimates — 2020 customer saw him climb the roof to quote - Daily cleanup — 2020 and 2025 reviews describe crews cleaning up each day - Quick jobs — 2021 roof hired Thursday and finished Saturday ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Climbed onto the roof to give an estimate and checked on the crew each day, per an April 2020 review _(confidence: medium)_ - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/trumbull/demetrius-pettway-construction-reviews-1.htm) — “Demetrius was the only roofer to climb up our roof to give us an estimate .
