The company says it has served the Connecticut shoreline since 1996, naming towns including Westbrook, Old Saybrook, Clinton, Madison, Guilford and Branford. A recent customer said Dan completed a sidewalk, a garage apron with Belgium blocks and a fence and gate system, and that he went out of his way to correct another gate system for them. That customer also described fair pricing throughout the project. A recent customer in Westbrook said Dan designed a patio for their home and gave their walkway a new look. In 2024, a customer working with Dan for the fourth time said he came out to review their fencing needs, gave a price, and was working and completing the job within a few days. A 2023 customer said their fence job was done within the time frame Dan had promised, and that he fixed their gate without adding to the cost. A 2023 customer said Dan transplanted shrubs and added pavers to expand their parking, with Dan and his crew compacting the area before cementing the pavers so it could take the work trucks that drive over the property. A 2022 customer had a fence, a paver patio and a retaining wall built. On Google, the business has 5 stars from 9 ratings. **Strengths:** - Gate fix, no charge — a 2023 customer said Dan fixed their gate without added cost - Quick fence turnaround — a 2024 repeat customer said the job finished within a few days - Belgium block apron — a recent customer had a garage apron done with Belgium blocks ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - The company says it has served the Connecticut shoreline since 1996, including Westbrook, Old Saybrook, Clinton, Madison, Guilford and Branford _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.designerfence-stone.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Designer Fence & Stone has been proudly serving the Conn. shoreline since 1996. including; Westbrook, Old S…” - A recent customer said Dan completed a sidewalk, a Belgium block garage apron and a fence and gate system _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xoWE0xUlpUeTF4U1RnNGEwTllSVTFGUm0xTFIxRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xd2a66532039a12b6!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlhXM1RZTy1xSTg4a0NYRU1FRm1LR1E%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Dan completed a sidewalk, garage apron with Belgium blocks and a fence and gate system for us.
