## The honest read

DiGiorgi Roofing & Siding, Inc. is a home exterior contractor at 33 Lancaster Dr in Beacon Falls, Connecticut. The company's site says it has been in business 93 years and lists roofing, siding, windows and doors, solar shingle, remodeling, decks, gutters, garage doors, concrete floor coatings, fencing, SummerSpace enclosures, retractable awnings and skylights, with a service area from Fairfield and Westport to Hartford, Waterbury and Branford. A hartfordbusiness.com profile says Morris "Bobby" DiGiorgi took the reins of the family business in 1960, and connecticut.news12.com reports DiGiorgi volunteers joined House of Heroes Connecticut in completing repairs at the home of Roy Thompson.

Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration HIC.0526048 is active, held by DIGIORGI ROOFING & SIDING INC.

Google shows 4.9 stars from 1154 ratings, Angi and HomeAdvisor 4.7 from 175 each, and Houzz 4.5 from 2. The October 2026 reviews cover a wide spread of work: 30 windows set by Zbynek and Martin, 9 replacement Marvin windows, an epoxy garage floor by Rey and AJ, a covered porch on a historic house, storm-blown vinyl siding and molding repaired, and garage doors ordered through a Costco membership. Service after the sale comes up in detail. An October 2026 review says Lee S. came back at no charge to quiet two-year-old garage doors, and a November 2025 review says a 2014 roof's lifetime warranty covered a free yearly inspection, branch clearing and a moss treatment applied by Mario. A June 2026 review of a 1923 2 family says the crew photographed rotten beams, called the customer right away and finished the roof in 2 days, and an April 2025 review describes kitchen drywall repair after a shower flood while staff handled the insurance paperwork.

The complaints are specific. An August 2026 two-star review says the roof went on in gray instead of the charcoal the customer wanted and that many nails were left behind. A May 2026 Reddit comment calls the company hit or miss: a siding job was quick, but the dumpster dented a year-old driveway, two doors were misaligned and the company argued the customer owed more. Other Reddit comments call the company expensive but excellent, or quite affordable for a roof and a deck.

**Strengths:**
- Warranty follow-up — free return visits for doors and roofs
- Careful window installs — 30 windows set one at a time
- Problem flagging — rotten beams photographed and reported before roofing

**Concerns:**
- Material checks — 2026 review says the roof color was wrong
- Site care — reports of a dented driveway and leftover nails
