## The honest read

Dinosaur Heating and Cooling LLC is a heating and cooling company; its website lists a service area that includes Portland, Cape Elizabeth, South Portland, Scarborough, Westbrook, Windham and Yarmouth, and it says it has been in business 10 years.

A customer said Tim installed a 6-zone heat pump system that took a lot of planning to get an attractive and effective layout, and said the pricing was competitive. A customer whose heat pump water heater was blowing cold air into a bedroom said Tim installed a duct to reroute the cold air upstairs, fixing the issue.

A customer said Tim helped them navigate the tradeoffs between cost, system effectiveness and aesthetics on a complex oil to natural gas conversion, and that the crew handled all the necessary subcontractors. A customer said Tim and team converted a failing oil-burning heating system to natural gas.

A 2026 customer said Tim called back immediately about a possible odor from a heat pump he had installed a couple of years earlier and was at the house within 30 minutes. That 2026 customer said he determined the odor was not coming from the heat pump and that the visit was no charge.

**Strengths:**
- 6-zone heat pump — a customer said the layout took a lot of planning
- Oil-to-gas conversions — oil heating systems converted to natural gas
- Cold-air fix — a duct rerouted heat pump water heater air upstairs
- Quick odor call — a 2026 customer said Tim arrived within 30 minutes
